Lewis Cass High school is looking for a color guard instructor to start immediately for the 2019-2020 season. Positions for band camp, fall marching season, and winter indoor season are available. The color guard instructor should coordinate a color guard that effectively enhances the overall marching band. The color guard instructor should work well with the band directors and staff members to develop the overall visual program. The Lewis Cass Marching Kings have performed in the ISSMA state finals 37 years in a row. They are 8 time state champions and 9 time runners up. Most recently They were the 2017 BOA Super Regional Champion, and 2018 BOA National Champion runners up. The IPA winds group is the 2019 scholastic A state champion and the 2019 WGI winds regional scholastic A champion.


Requirements include experience performing and teaching dance, weapon, and flag. Candidates should be able to pass a background check.
