Dear Indiana Music Educators:
The University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music Wind Studies Department is proud to present the 2017 CCM WIND CONDUCTORS WORKSHOP, February 16-18, 2017.
Guest Conductor, Educator and Instructor will be H. Robert Reynolds, Professor of Wind Conducting at the USC Thornton School of Music; workshop director is Terence Milligan, Interim Director of Wind Studies and Professor Emeritus at CCM. Additional faculty will include Angela Holt, conductor of the CCM Wind Ensemble, and Ron Aufmann and Ixi Chen, professors of clarinet at CCM.

Participants with podium time will conduct the CCM Wind Orchestra, Wind Ensemble and Chamber Winds for a total of three individual sessions. Class seminars will cover various topics, including baton technique, score study and rehearsal methods/philosophy for all levels of conducting with a focus on the connection between conducting and music education.
I strongly encourage you to attend. The Workshop is geared to conductors/teachers at the secondary level as well as those at the collegiate level. Working with Professor Reynolds is an opportunity not to be missed! I can assure you that you will gain an immeasurable amount of insight through your participation in this three-day event.
